I spent last Thursday (July 3rd) visiting florists. I consulted with three florists, in three different cities (Murfreesboro, LaVergne, and Nashville), and got pretty similar pricing. For what I want, the price is almost exactly what I guess-timated it would be. So, that was a relief.

I still haven't decided which of the three I am going to go with, but I am closer to a decision, and I think the flowers will be really lovely.

I found the appointments quite difficult, because I can't really imagine the designs the florists are describing to me, so I can't really tell them whether or not they are getting the aesthetic I have in mind. Not to mention that, for the most part, I really don't want to have to design the florals myself. That is why I am hiring people. I just want to explain my design aesthetic and then get beautiful bouquets that match it perfectly.
