Engagement Photos

We met with our photographer, Jennifer Dunaway, yesterday to get our engagement photos taken. As soon as we get the link to them, we'll post some here so you can see how adorable we are. These will be our first professional couple photos. (And we have precious few of us together, because we never trust anyone in foreign countries not to run off with my awesome camera).

Susan came up last weekend to shop for her wedding dress. We found one that we all like, but Susan is still looking for something perfect. It's kind of shocking how few options there are for women who want sleeves. Both Susan and my mom got dresses that have jackets, and under the jackets they are both sleeveless. If it's hot, I don't think anyone will want to be wearing a jacket, but then again, we will be inside in the air conditioning for most everything (except the pictures (and possibly the ceremony)).

We went to a wedding (Crystal's, who works with Tom at Caremark) on Saturday, and it was a very nice ceremony and a fun reception. Except for the long drive on the one-car road our GPS recommended, we had a good time.

I am really starting to look forward to the wedding, and not even in a I-can't-wait-for-this-to-be-over way, just in a, happy-about-the-whole-process way.
