Getting Things Done

We had a big push last weekend, and got a lot accomplished. Mom and I went to A Bride's Storey and found a dress I like. (I'm worried that its not perfect though, because neither of us cried any happy/proud/whatever tears). But, I like it, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I wasn't horrifically unattractive in any of the dresses.

We also chose a photographer, a DJ, and ordered invitations. I also have made appointments for hair and makeup on Saturday morning before the wedding.

So, you might be asking, what does that leave you still to do? Well, we have yet to choose a florist, a cake baker/decorator, and bridesmaids dresses. We also have to finalize the menu, the bar, and a few other odds and ends, but for the most part, we have made a lot of progress.

I am fairly proud of us.

And I might even get around to picking wedding colors soon. Honest.
